Welcome to Jecha Point Fishing Lodge!  Experience an affordable, comfortable and accessible getaway for the whole family. Situated on the banks of the Zambezi River below Chirundu on the Zimbabwean side. We offer the discerning traveller a chance to experience the beauty of the middle Zambezi valley river system and it's surrounds from the comfort of a quiet, wild and exclusive lodge.

From candlelit dinners to afternoon sundowners on sandbanks, we offer you the full 'unwind and relax' package.

Jecha Point Fishing Lodge Accommodation

• The lodge can comfortably accommodate up to 22 guests. Fully catered and self catered options are available.
• There are 4 chalets sleeping 2 guests each and 2 family chalets - one sleeps 6 and the other sleeps 8.
• All the chalets are thatched and have en-suite bathroom facilities.
• Each of the rooms are cooled with overhead fans.
• Laundry is done on a daily basis.

There is also a riverside campsite for self-drive campers, set on green lawns under shady trees, with a braai area, firepit, power points and ablution facilities. Ideal for 4x4 groups needing a stopover on the way to Mana Pools/Zambia​

Jecha Point specialises in offering professional guiding to fishing enthusiasts focused on the mighty tiger fish and other exciting species. Tigerfishing is exhilarating sport for beginners & professionals alike. The Tiger fish is an apex predator in the River system & will give any angler a serious adrenaline rush when it smashes your lure or fly​!

Various other activities are available on request, such as game drives or walks in the bush, beach volleyball & soccer, birding walks, romantic candle-lit dinners on our game viewing platform, sunset cruises by boat and not forgetting the spectacular photographic opportunities.

Weddings & Functions at Jecha Point

Jecha Point is the perfect venue for a unique & breathtaking wedding. Situated right on the Zambezi river bank, we have unrivalled river views, spacious gardens as well as a gorgeous campsite to host receptions​ The lodge can host weddings of up to 180 guests. 

Every wedding is tailor-made to suit the bride & groom & ensure their wedding is unique. We take great pride in providing a seamless and unforgettable experience.
